A GUIDE TO TRAVEL INSURANCE

Smart travelers purchase travel insurance to protect against the financial costs resulting from any number of unfortunate incidents, sickness or injury that may occur away from home.
Travel insurance may provide cover for deposits, prepaid accommodation and travel arrangements, luggage and personal effects, cancellation or holiday deferment costs, vehicle rental excess, medical and non-medical assistance, medical evacuation and repatriation, personal liability and legal expenses.
When you are choosing your insurance provider, be sure that you have everything in writing to state what you are covered for. We offer you a choice of travel insurance plans, it is up to you to choose the cover you need.
Check your travel insurance policy closely, You need to make sure the limits of cover are appropriate for your needs, otherwise you may be under insured and have to bear part of any loss that exceeds the limits yourself. Therefore you should read the PDS and Policy Wording carefully. 

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

Pre-existing medical conditions can be assessed when quoting online. When appling for a policy you must tell SureSave of any pre-existing medical condition other than those automatically covered, that you want assessed.

Making a Claim

Where you claim arises due to an emergency, you need to obtain written reports of the incident from the appropriate authorities within 24 hours of discovery and you must inform SureSave within 30 days of your return date by completing a claim form. If you need assistance or have any inquiries (non-emergency) Ph: 1300 625 229.
You can either type directly into a claim form to complete it (before printing it and signing it) OR print it off and complete it by hand. You must post this form together with supporting documentation within 30 days of your return to: SureSave Travel Claims. Po Box A975, Sydney South, NSW 1235.
